Ready for a weekend of indulgence?
This quiet coastal town is a popular weekend spot for many inland dwellers. Port Dickson (known also as PD) is located on the west coast of the state Negeri Sembilan, just between Kuala Lumpur and Melaka. Formerly known as Tanjung to the Malays and Alang to the Chinese, PD derives its name from Sir John Frederick Dickson, a British resident responsible for developing this area into a significant trading port in the 18th century.
