Visit Johor’s favorite recreational and holiday destination !
Desaru has one of the best beaches of Johor mainland. Long for 25km and located on the east coast of Peninsula, is lined with casuarinas trees, interrupted here and there by rustic fishing villages. The sand is quite grayish and you can walk nearly 50 meters into the sea without it getting deeper than 4 feet (1.5 m). Activities such as golfing, horse riding, tennis, canoeing, swimming, boating, fishing, snorkeling or jungle trekking are largely available. One can also take part in a triathlon, held here every year. To make your visit more memorable, see the artifacts of World War II in Tanjung Pengelih or relics of the Malay Johor Riau Empire at Johor Lama.
Note: The Monsoon Season starts in November and ends in March. During this period the sea becomes rough and more rain falls. For safety reasons, we may not organize marine activities such as Parasailing, Banana boat ride, etc. However, you could still enjoy sunbathing or swimming in the spacious hotel swimming pool or join the optional tours such as Firefly Tour, River Cruise Tour etc.
